my responses to your candidate questionnaire.

1. Please describe the training and experience that
qualify you for this office. (50 words)

My training as a student included the principles of
capitalism and the philosophy of liberty. My
experience as a veteran, a husband, and a father has
taught me the importance of our free market economy to
the strength of our nation and the civil liberties we
enjoy.

2. What plan for public school finance would you
support and why? (75 words)

I support school choice vouchers for use in free
market secular schools. A single working mother does
not have the options of escaping a failing school
district by sending her child to a private school, of
moving to a more expensive neighborhood, or by home
schooling. With school choice vouchers, she can
exercise her parental right to choose which school
meets the unique needs of her child.

3. What other important issues do you hope the Texas
Legislature will address? (75 words)

When voting for representatives, we should not be
forced to choose between either more socialism or more
fundamentalism. Both theories of government enslave.
The alternative that liberates is individualism. If
elected, I will ensure that government protects the
rights of the individual against the trespasses of the
majority. I will fight socialism by hanging Robin
Hood as a thief. I will fight fundamentalism by
rescinding the law requiring recitation of the Pledge.
